My Family Keeps Getting Sick And I Suspect Mold

I would greatly appreciate it u could email me some of the symptoms of mold exposure. I've been dragging with several health problems for the past 5 months such as allergic reaction signs, memory loss, can't sleep, etc. My 7 month old doesn't sleep, screams in the middle of night. My son had a yeast infection on his body that we thought was normal because he drools. I've had a rash, severe itching, fungal infection on my body. Can you email them if u would feel more comfortable.....

My family thinks I'm going crazy but there are signs of something - but Exterminator sees nothing and I don't know what else to do - loosing my life right in front of my eyes.

Sorry to hear about your families health issues. It is definitely possible that mold is causing these problems, and you are right to be concerned. If there is mold and it is not removed your families health issues will only get worse. Small children would be affected the most. Mold can cause a lot of health issues, you can read more about them by following the link. An exterminator is not qualified to inspect your home for mold. You need to have a mold expert come in and take a look. Most mold removal professionals offer free home inspections so there is nothing to lose. Here is a link to find a local mold inspector that offers free home inspections.

It is possible that the mold is in a hidden place such as below your carpets, in the walls or in your HVAC system, and the inspector may not be able to see it. You can have an air test done to see if there are mold spores in your home. It will cost you money for the test but you will know for sure if there is any mold. Be sure to have a professional come in and do the test. Most home testing kits are unreliable. Here is a link to find certified mold testers in your area. They will know how to properly test your home and evaluate the results.

If mold is found make sure you tell your doctor. Please let us know how everything turns out.

 Mold and sickness

I AM A DISABLED VETERAN LIVING IN VA HOUSING AND I'VE BEEN TELLING THE LANDLADY ABOUT THE LEAK IN MY BATHROOM AND THEY JUST KEPT PATCHING IT. NOW I HAVE LIKE BLACK HAIR COMING OFF MY WALLS AND CEILING. I COMPLAINED FOR 3 YEARS ABOUT THIS AND THEN I FIND OUT SHE WAS TRANSFERRED HERE FROM ANOTHER APPARTEMENT BUILDING FOR BOTHERING VETERANS.

MY SERVICE DOG WAS SUFFERING RIGHT AWAY SO I CALLED BAY AREA LEGAL ABOUT ALL MY PROBLEMS WITH THIS PLACE, INCLUDING LEAKING PIPES AND A BAD, TERRIBLE SMELL. I HAVE GONE FROM 154 LBS TO 112 LBS IN THE LAST 3 YEARS, WITH SEVERE SINUS INFECTIONS, CONSTANT NAUSEA, ITCH ALL THE TIME, RUNNY NOSE AND BURNING EYES WITH HEADACHES. I HOPE TO GET BETTER AND HAVE HEARD IF A DOCTOR DOESN"T NOW U WERE EXPOSED TO MOLD, THEY MAY NOT BE ABLE TO TREAT YOU PROPERLY. I'M WORRIED FOR ALL OF THE TENANTS HERE. THERE ARE SICK OLDER PEOPLE THAT LIVE AROUND ME THAT MAY NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE SICK FROM. IM GOING TO THE NEWS ABOUT THIS RAT HOLE!!

 Hello same issues with my family!

I would read up on Candida! My children, spouse and I have those symptoms. The doctors rarely test for it because they say you have to have a compromised immune system. We have appointments with GI doctors so hopefully they will listen. It is not a lot of info online and then when you do find a good site its trying to sell u stuff. (Don't Buy) The remedy for curing it is an anti fungal antibiotic, probiotics and diet change. I have done a lot of research to try and help my family because the doctors want listen. I have come up with one answer and its CANDIDA. Hope this helps and hopefully your family is in better health already.
